What is yoga?

Yoga is a holistic way of life that integrates all elements of ancient knowledge of yoga, to make a prayerful discipline uniting the body, mind and soul. Along with the series of simple, yet effective yoga postures and breathing techniques, a greater emphasis is placed on the inner experience of meditation, for the well-being of mind and other hidden elements of human existence.

Why practise yoga?

Some people may come to yoga for flexibility, stress relief, health and physical fitness. Others may come to yoga because of spirituality or self-actualization. Yoga offers self-reflection, the practice of kindness and self-compassion, and continued growth and self-awareness. Yoga opens up the possibility of connecting to what we already have to who we already are.
